Reviews for Locavore Greenhills
Review highlights
Based on 31 reviewsLocavore Greenhills is generally praised for its innovative take on modern Filipino cuisine, offering bold flavors and creative dishes that appeal to diners seeking both tradition and novelty. Customers frequently highlight standout items such as oyster sisig and unique appetizers like cassava chips with salted egg. Service is commonly described as attentive and cheerful, contributing positively to the overall dining experience. However, feedback often notes that some dishes can be heavy on seasoning, particularly MSG, and that prices tend to be on the higher side compared to similar local offerings. The restaurant’s limited indoor space necessitates reservations during busy periods, but the well-organized seating helps maintain comfort. Overall, Locavore Greenhills remains a recommended spot for flavorful Filipino fare with a modern twist.
It was my first time to try this resto and it did not disappoint. I really liked all the dishes. The sizzling sinigang was my least fave since it was kinda “nakakaumay”. The oyster sisig was really good! The cassava chips with salted egg was kinda unique. It was enjoyable to eat. I’d love to try their other dishes.
Tried Locavore, and I have to say — the food is great. They offer modern Filipino dishes with a creative twist, which makes the experience both familiar and refreshing. The flavors are bold, and the presentation is impressive. The staff are attentive and provide good service, which adds to the overall dining experience. However, some dishes were a bit heavy on the MSG, which might not sit well with everyone. That said, the overall experience was still enjoyable, and the food quality makes it worth visiting — just something to keep in mind if you're sensitive to MSG.
The food is usually good. I like to order the sizzling sinigang and the beef adobo, but this time i tried the pares mami. Wasn't very impressed with that one. The price is alot more expensive than the pares shops but the taste is generally the same.
The food was very delicious and savory, the staff were cheerful and respectful, over all, I had a great time dining here at Locavore GH. The only thing I'd point out is that the indoor space is small, so reservations are a must. I highly recommend dining here if you love Filipino food!
The food was good although a bit pricy, ordered gising gising and a kare kare squid noodle dish, which were delicious. However, the service we received was excellent. The place itself was not large but had well spaced tables so did not feel cramped. Overall a good experience if you are ok with the price. You can pay with Apple Pay.
